The Ponderous Woman: Not As They Seem

Joey Stewart (also known as the Ponderous Woman) and her friends find themselves working for a nice old woman called Granny - but are things really as they appear to be?

Initially suspicious, Joey soon learns that working for Granny has a lot of perks - chief among them Granny's cooking, which is to die for! That explains why her friend Bertha has grown so fat.  And, wait a minute, does Joey notice that she might be putting on a few pounds, too?

None of this seems to concern Joey or her friends... Until Joey uncovers a shocking secret - and then she must find a way to save herself from a terrifying fate!

This is a self-contained tale of the Ponderous Woman and requires no previous knowledge of the character. For those that have read the online comic series of the Ponderous Woman, this story exists within the continuity of the original comic tales.
